Resolution criteria

Resolves to Argentina if Argentina win the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. Resolves to Spain if Spain win. The official winner after any extra time and penalty shootout will be used.

Background

Argentina and Spain will meet in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final at New York New Jersey Stadium on 19 July 2026. Argentina are the defending world champions, while Spain are the reigning European champions.

Fine print

If the match is postponed, the question will resolve after the rescheduled final. If FIFA declares either team the champion without the match being completed, resolves to that team. If the tournament ends without FIFA declaring a champion, resolves Annulled. Changes to the result made after the resolution record is published do not alter the outcome.
